MECHIEL GERTENBACH

Mechiel completed his LLB at the University of the Free State in 2014 and was admitted as an attorney during 2016. He was recognised as the Best Student in Legal Practice in his 3rd year of studies, as well as being awarded a Certificate of Recognition for Academic Performance in both 2013 and 2014. He started his journey with Symington De Kok in 2021 in our Dispute Resolution Department.
Mechiel succeeds in adding the human touch to tailor-made legal solutions and is currently an Associate in our Litigation Department. He has experience in Civil Litigation (both in the Magistrate’s- and High Court), Liquidation and Sequestrations, Commercial Litigation and Recoveries, Family Law and Dispute Resolution Approaches.
